This guy is pretty awesome! I am glad he is my husband. ❤
Happy Earth Day to you from our garden! I think petunia looks like outer space!
I spent a beautiful and quiet morning in the garden. I had the company of a newly bloomed bleeding heart. It was very peaceful.
My mom died 10 years ago today. Here is a post from that time: "My mom is gone, my dad is gone, my grandparents are gone, and even some of my siblings. I feel like the last soldier standing. Sure, the soldier fought hard and accomplished more than anyone thought they could or would…but still victory feels hollow without their fellow soldiers..." I no longer feel this way. However, I can still powerfully recall that intense feeling, but now it is directed as vulnerability and empathy for others.
Our sea holly is about to bloom! So pretty!
Someone got a haircut! 😊
Our bleeding heart in bloom!
Fear, in my experience, can be hard to detect in one's self. It hijacks your brain, so it is hard to determine if your reactions are based in a wise mind. I am practicing being mindful and staying present to fear.
I am so glad this plant grew back. It is a forget-me-not. I so enjoy the small blue flowers. 💙
My morning view - Rowen being James' work assistant. 🤣
Our tulips are in full bloom! 🧡💚
My three stages of change: 1) Cautious 2) Curious 3) Cheerful 🤣🤣🤣
Love our home in the spring! ❤🧡💚💚💙💜
One reason I love flowers is that they are lessons to me on life and love. From the seeds sprouting, to the petals appearing and falling, to the leaves returning to the earth; flowers teach me how to appreciate loveliness in all forms and at all moments - from the beginning to the end. ❤💙
