চায়ের জন্য আমি দূর-বহু দূরের পথ পাড়ি দিতে রাজি...
আর এই থেকেই উপলব্ধি যে আমার নাম চয়নিকা(chayanika) না হয়ে চা-য়নিকা হলে নামকরণটা যথার্থ হতো🤔যদিও কেউ এটাকে ছায়ানিকা বলেও ডাকে!!😍
যাক সেটা!আজকের চা-বার্তায় আসা যাক... #গিয়েছিলাম

Enjoyed having afternoon tea at the Shangri-La. It was such a relaxing time listening to piano music, sipping Prosecco and enjoying a variety of wonderful desserts in honour of Chinese New Year. My particular favourite dessert was called Yuzu - Yuzu whipped ganache with caramelized pineapple. The tea I chose was called Sita Chai and the description says “a decadent blend of chocolate and spices with an enveloping and lingering finish” and let me tell you it was really lovely and the perfect choice. Last year I was lucky enough to enjoy the afternoon tea celebrating The Nutcracker and it was a beautiful afternoon tea and this one today also didn’t disappoint. I have have been following @jolanthiry the head pastry chef at Shangri-La for a while now and had the chance to meet him Thursday night. He is so talented and I’m always excited to see what he will create next. 茶碗は京焼お福茶碗、釜は一文字の丸釜、香合は京焼、お薄器は柳竹（りゅうちく）に鶯の蒔絵、水差し、こぼし、蓋置は桶川皆具、軸は「春入千林処々鶯（はるせんりんにいりてしょしょにうぐいす）」（春になり林へ一歩市を踏み入れてみれば、いたるところで鶯がいる。）、棚は長板、花は白梅と推薦、花入は信楽焼、お菓子は叶匠寿庵大石最中
