Este es el deck ganador del Pokemon Championships Oceanía celebrado en Melbourne, Australia el pasado fin de semana, del 15/02/2019 al 17/02/2019, perteneciente a Byron Isaiah Williams.

Zapdos/Jirachi, de entrada vemos que en la formula de este deck solo incluye un pokemon GX (Tapu Koko-GX), lo cual lo hace un deck incomodo para decks que cuentan con muchos pokemones GX, por el trade de 1x2.

Jirachi patineta (Escape Board) es el motorcito de este deck, con su habilidad que cuando es el pokemon activo te permite ver las 5 primera cartas de tu deck y tomar u trainer de entre esas 5, eso te abre un mundo de posibilidades, lo único malo de esta habilidad es que Jirachi se duerme cuando la hace, pero con un Guzma, un escape rope, un escape board o un switch táctico se resuelve.

Zapdos es el complemento perfecto, con una sola energía hace 10 de daño, pero cuando viene de la banca hace 80 mas, es decir 90, si le sumamos 20 de un Kukui puedes hacer 110, si usas Electropower son 30 mas, hace 140, y con choice band para los GX puedes hacer 170 de daño y si usas el campo Thunder Mountain Prism Star este ataque sale gratis, porque este campo hace que los ataques de pokemones eléctricos cuestan 1 energía menos.

Y como complemento tenemos a Oranguru para picar, Absol que hace que el pokemon básico de tu rival cueste una energía mas para retirar y Tapu Koko Prism Star y Tapu Koko GX, para cuando necesites dar un buen golpe.

The Topps series of Pokemon cards is my favorite if I'm being honest, and that's because they were some of the first cards I ever had. I have this memory from the 2nd grade where my friend, Tyler Cooper, and I were trading these cards back and forth. That was the day I finally got Charizard and completed that evolution chain. I was ecstatic. It's super cool our teacher Mrs Allen would let us do that before class began!

Instagram won't let me zoom out all the way on these so it's cutting off some on the ends. The set is about half complete, again, missing most of the 2nd and 3rd series. The last shot is of the first page of duplicates that follow.

Man I miss the 90s!

This Bulbasaur is actually signed by the VA who played Bulbasaur and many other characters from the anime! It was a gift from good friend and fellow author here at GoForBeau.com, @raptoractual who got her to sign it for me while she was in Knoxville attending a Fanboy Expo. Thanks again brother!

The rest of the pics are the ending of the tcg cards and some of the movie cards from the late 90s. I've almost got a complete set of that one that makes a full picture! 😬 Just need that one piece! The last shot is the front of the binder they call home.

Next up are the original Topps Pokemon cards! I have about 60 of them if I'm not mistaken. Missing most of the 3rd series and much of the 2nd.
