Ily Barcelona.
Crazy how comfortable I feel here in this city. Walking through the streets feels like home, when the sun tickles your nose and people ask you for directions. I had the most amazing time here, and the thought of moving here is stuck in my head bc this city has the perfect vibe. Let’s see what 2019 brings, maybe I do end up in Barcelona, wouldn’t mind. We met so many funny and amazing souls who told us how they ended up here, and they are happier than ever. Would not mind at all to start an adventure at all !

Monday is for #memories
This is Kisho’s story, a #pomeranian x #germanspitz born December 2002. The top left photo in Pic 1 was taken the week before he passed over the rainbow 🌈 in December 2017 from stomach cancer. The most loving and adoring friend, he came into our lives in 2009 through @petrescueau
Pics 2 & 3 show what his life was like 😢These were taken after 6 months of loving care with an awesome carer, Cynthia. His life prior was one of severe abuse and neglect. Due to this he struggled in his life with chronic liver disease that caused seizures, diabetes insipidus, pancreatitis, infected and inflamed gallbladder which was removed, among other chronic health conditions. At no point did he complain - never. And every morning he would wake kicking his paws into the air with glee, so happy to be alive and among loving friends, such as Puppy #tibetanspaniel and Radley #cheekycat (both pictured).
what a #blessing Kisho came into our lives. His #love and #happiness is missed. 🙏💗🐶💗🙏

FAVE PHRASES: ‘Baby, baby! *pointing at my stomach* I’m going to be a big sister!’; ‘Is the baby popping out today?’; ‘I’m a grown up girl’; ‘I’m going as fast as I can!’; ‘You’re welcome!’; ‘Can I watch something?’; ‘How many more bites do I need to have?’; ‘I need to tell you something...’ *long pause whilst she tries to think of something* (always at bedtime) ... I wrote the list above and then this morning asked Bea what her favourite thing was, this was her answer, word for word, said as quickly as she could: “My favourite thing to do is cuddling the baby and I love my baby sister and that’s what makes me happy and I’m going to be a big sister and that makes me happy and excited!” 💕

Is there anything better than a restful Sunday with your family? 😍🙌🏼 Truly though, Sunday’s used to be a dreadful day for me because it meant I had to go back to work the next day 😭

I hated leaving the kids. I had horrible anxiety every night before work. I wanted so badly to be home with them but it just wasn’t financially possible for us. I knew I couldn’t continue the way things were. So I did something about it! I joined a friend in this awesome company & worked harder than ever for about 6 months. Life was insane & crazy hectic but that time was so worth it because eventually, I was able to quit my job at the hospital and be home with my miracle babies full time.

The road wasn’t easy, but I knew I couldn’t keep living the way we were. So something had to change and it started with ME. Along the way, I became stronger than I ever have, gained confidence in myself as a wife & mom, & learned how to put my health first so I could best care for everyone around me.

My hubby is in awe of what I’ve accomplished over the last 2 years & that’s an awesome feeling! He’s seen a complete 180 in me & tells me all the time. In just over a month we’ll be going on a cruise together, my second free trip! All because I decided to stop accepting life the way it was & start doing something to change it. You can too, girl 💕
