#transformationtuesday This is my client (and twin!) Chelsea. 8 months out from comp and already looking stage ready. Your pre-comp and post-comp is just as, if not more, important than your comp prep phase. In order to bring your best physique to stage you want to set your mind and body up prior to beginning your cut for a fitness show. LEFT: May 2015. 55kg. 1200 Calories. RIGHT: Dec 2018. 55kg. 2000 Calories. Chelsea competed for the first time 4 years ago. Since then she has had a break from training, prepping and any tracked nutrition. We started a fat-loss and body recomp phase 4 months ago. Over the 8 weeks she lost 5kg and dropped down to 14% BF. An ideal place to begin a prep. We have spent the past 8 weeks reverse dieting her, increasing her food to 2000 calories. She has only gained 0.5kg in this time and is now moving into a building (or bulking) phase. The aim is to spend the next 4 to 5 months building muscle and increasing her calories before starting a potential cut for WBFF Sydney. We have a clear goal in mind and have spent the last 4 months getting Chelsea leaner, stronger and healthier. Now, we will concentrate the next 8 months on optimising her training and nutrition to ensure she brings her best physique to stage. If you want to compete, build and sculpt a stage worthy physique and prep with health as the top priority, you need time. The longer the prep, the less aggressive you must go in regards to dropping food and increasing training volume. If you have ever considered competing, shoot me a message! I am now taking on comp prep clients for 2019!
