Putting up with all the carnivores bull crap!
People who think that I only eat salad
Most of the people close to you are not vegan.
Hearing others excuses of why they could never give up meat/dairy, even though I never asked.
Seeing the people you love and care about sick with health problems that are directly related to what they eat.
Vegetables are expensive in Namibia 🇳🇦
Awareness in this hell called world
Finding a vegan partner 😂
Easy one, co-existing and having to tolerate sharing the planet with non-vegans.
Hearing people making jokes about animal suffering. .. Haha, well it's actually happening my friend, it's not funny.
The stupid people. 🤷🏼♀️
Cooking every meal is challenging
The comments and criticism from other people. Knowing the animals continue to suffer and that it won’t end soon.
Working for a boss that has you order/ pick up murderous foods for employees. Or when my friends pick an animal based restaurant and I’m already with them so I don’t really have a say and get to see everyone eating animals and it makes me so sad 😭
The hardest part for me was honestly dealing with backlash from other vegans who didn’t agree with my opinion that being vegan isn’t black and white, there’s so much grey because every single persons body is autonomous and everyone’s idea of what being vegan means is up to them. I relocated to a big city recently and found myself dumped in a big pond of vegans coming from a small town and being one of few. Not all *i would never type cast or put anyone into a box* but a LOT of the vegan I met here are sometimes downright CRUEL to others if they don’t fit in their “black and white” world. It’s a spectrum, much like everything else in this world. Be compassionate, eat and live thoughtfully and be kind- not only to animals, but also to the humans around you.
Never being able to say yes to an offer of tea or coffee at work.
