That’s multi-engine instructor completed! Thanks to @jonny_hewitt for the help getting ready for the checkride
Still not back to 100%, but I climbed for the first time today since breaking my ankle in July. So that was pretty lit 🔥 I know, lame pun, I just don’t have a photo of me climbing & I like fire
Ankle is progressively getting better, weather is cooling down, & I’m itching to start hiking places again 🏕
Congrats on making it to a quarter of a century bud!
Being coach to @gingomatic, @jaboyjazzy, & @jdavidduque is exhausting
Guess who just got back today Them wild-eyed boys that had been away Haven’t changed that much to say But man, I still think them cats are crazy
Stoked to be reunited with the Ice Climbers+ back home in just a few days. Guess it’s time to see how much I can do on one foot 🤷🏻♂️
Final verdict on my ankle: It’s broken & I have to stay off of it for 6 weeks. Fortunately, no surgery is needed & and I can just leave it in a boot (clean break to the distal tibia). • It’s going to be a rough couple weeks as it means I can’t climb or go hiking & that really stinks. But healing is important so that once I’m healed I can go full steam again. October can’t come soon enough. • In the meantime, I guess I’ll hit the hang-board a lot 🤷🏻♂️ Thanks to everyone who’s been praying & has reached out to me wishing me a speedy recovery. You’re all appreciated!
Remember kids, always climb in groups. Big thanks to @corey_messer, @bpturcotte, & others for helping me this past weekend after a pretty gnarly injury to my ankle.
We were happy to serve the Primera Iglesias Bautista de Arecibo over the past week, but today we fly out. It’s been real ✌🏽
Saw a few boats, no crash though
New friends lead to new places and new adventures
